14. She has the general superintendance of the cleanliness of both furniture and wards and she is to see that at all times these are kept in perfect arrangement.
5. During her hours of duty she is to occupy a sitting room set apart for her use and to pay periodical visits to the Wards allotted to her.
6. Her attention should be directed to administering medicines at stated hours to all the sick in her wards, taking temperatures and keeping the sick scrupulously clean, specially those who are unable to help themselves, and generally performing the duties of a Nurse.
7. She shall keep a Day book and enter on it for the guidance of the Night Nurse, directions left by the Superintendent concerning the treatment &c. of the patients during the succeeding night.
8. The Nurse is to make an indent on the Head Nurse every Saturday for the linen required and shall see that the soiled linen is returned on receipt of a clean supply.
Night Nurse.
The hours of duty are from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.
1. She shall receive all reports from the day nurses and make herself fully acquainted with the conditions of patients seriously ill.
2. Her other duties are to correspond to those of the Day Nurses.
